Fukano worked at Nishi-Nippon City Bank, Ltd. from 1992 to 2007, overseeing corporate sales and marketing at sales branches and managing and collecting debt in the Credit Department. He participated in the launch of Nishigin Turnaround Partners Co., Ltd. He was in charge of the turnaround, asset management and debt collection for Kyushu Servicer Co., Ltd.
