From 2008 to 2011, Watanabe worked at Investment Division of Mori Building Investment Management Co., Ltd. He was involved in the acquisition, asset management and disposition of offices and residences. From 2004 to 2008, he was responsible for the consulting of urban redevelopment and vitalization in City Center at UG Toshi-Kenchiku Co. Ltd.
