Masatoshi Matsuo (45), Genkai Capital Management Co., Ltd.
Masatoshi Matsuo, of Fukuoka Prefecture, successfully made his company Japan's first region-specialized real estate investment trust company to be listed on the stock market in June 2005, and in May 2006 established Genkai Capital Management as a private fund company engaging in both real estate and non real-estate business. Drawing on his experience with Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. and at a U.S. securities company, he targets Kyushu properties for his company's investments.
