Matsuyama joined GENKAI Capital Management in 2021 and now mainly supervises Tokyo Business Division and International Business Division. Prior to that he served as chief director of Mitsubishi Jisho Property Management Co., Ltd., as an assigned executive dispatched from its parent company, Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. At Mitsubishi Jisho PM, he led establishing its property management business to support Mitsubishi Estate join the J-REIT market. Prior to that he worked at Mitsubishi Estate New York Inc., where he was engaged in the operation, management and development, including structured finance via securitization, of various type of assets includes high rise office building in Los Angeles. Initially after he graduated Doshisha University, he was engaged in international sales of IT devices at Epson Corporation.

  三菱地所ニューヨーク社（ロサンゼルス勤務）において、オフィスビルの運営、ファイナンス等の経営全般、その他証券化による資金調達を利用したプロジェクト開発に従事
  
  （株）菱栄ビルマネジメント（現三菱地所プロパティマネジメント）出向
  三菱地所による上場REIT参入を目的としたPM事業の立ち上げに従事。その後、営業企画部長を経て、同社取締役営業企画部長兼PM事業部長、常務取締役、（代）専務取締役を歴任
